Christmas is around the corner, believe it or not, and if you want to avoid shopping malls, you are sure to find a special gift at the Elgin Railway markets. To get into the Christmas spirit, visit the market on 19 December for the Cool wine and Christmas Carols event. Browse the market from 17:00 until 21:00 while sipping on local cool climate wines. Of course, there will be plenty of wholesome food choices as well. We hope to see you there!
Mountain Biking
Yes, we are happy to share that the MTB trails are ready for you to explore this summer, and both Oak Valley and Paul Cluver invite adventure seekers to experience their tracks. They are open 365 days a year during daylight hours, weather permitting, of course.

If you need a bigger thrill, Cape Canopy Tours are (literally) back in full swing for those and promise nearly 5 hours of exhilarating fun in the Elgin Valley.
Trails
Emerge yourself into the valley at Trail’s End where you can enjoy MTB as well as hiking trails. Or opt for a slackpacking adventure with the Green Mountain and Blue Mountain Trails that are also back in full operation.
