- Leisure History Walk on our historic farm hosted by Richard Portmann and Ian Robertson, registered culture guides. Starting at Elgin Vintners tasting room. Guided walk time slots 9.00 / 11.00 / 14.00 / 16.00. End guided tour at tasting room with a glass of wine and a snack which is included in the price. Cost: R 100 per person. - Private Wine Tasting presented by Elgin Vintners Winemaker –All about Pinot Noir. Enjoy an informative wine-tasting, all about Pinot Noir, included in the line-up Elgin Vintners Pinot Noir vertical tasting of vintages as well as Elgin Vintners Pinot Noir 2019, a Mosaic Top 5 SA winner (of which the vintage is sold out ) and Pinot Noir from Burgundy, France and Marlborough, New Zealand. A great opportunity to enjoy the MTB trails at Paul Cluver, which are reserved for guided tours and special events.
- Registration from 7:00am – 8:30am & Start anytime between 8:00am-9:00am.
- Participate in Andries Burger’s Strava competition! Andries, our winemaker, holds the record for the fastest downhill on the new, fast and flowing Rietvlei Magic trail (the total route is 35km long)
- The first 10 riders who can beat Andries' winning time will each earn themselves a bottle of wine.
- Prize giving takes place at 11h00 on both days.Chill out after your ride and enjoy a delicious burger and chips, with either a carafe of wine or Cluver & Jack cider.TICKETS ARE LIMITED!

10.30am – 12 noon:
- Vertical tasting of the Paul Wallace Reflection Chardonnay and Brave Heart Pinot Noir.
- There may well be an international wine thrown into the mix. A total of 8 wines to tantalize your tastebuds
- Our Brave Heart Pinot Noir 2015, which won the Old Mutual Trophy for the Best Pinot Noir in 2017, will be included.
- There will be a limited amount of the older vintages made available for sale.
Cost: R250 per person
3 – 4.30pm:
- Vertical tasting of 6 vintages of the Paul Wallace Black Dog Malbec, with a wild card thrown in.

Join owners Sandy & Kevin King for a wine & lunch pairing table. Kevin will take us through our current vintages, share some info & anecdotes about this uniquely Cool area and will no doubt pull out a few special bottles from the cellar. Sandy will pair the wines with a country food feast of local produce and family favourite recipes. Bring yourselves, invite a few mates and join the King’s in all things Cool Elgin.
